Svalandsgubben Skauløp has become a term among both elite runners and recreational athletes. Every year since its inception in 1974, the last Sunday in October is the day everyone talks about. When the traditional event kicks off with a bang on Sunday, October 31, 2021, it will be for the 48th time, still in the prime of life for those enduring tough challenges. The race covers 27 kilometers of mud, marsh, and hardship, and despite the challenges, 973 participants lined up at the starting line.
